To all CLBA members and general public
CLBA is entered a revision period of all vital operational concerns. The revision will be a major evaluation of all corporate and religious issues. This action is in preparation for new millennium adjustments. Please take note of the following points.
NEW POLICY:
Membership Renewals: A deadline is set for 5/1/2005. All members must now request an annual renewal before the deadline date. New membership cards will be issued. Online memberships will not get cards.
Legal Assistance: Person's not registered as members will not have the benefit of assistance.
Associate Memberships and Renewals: There is a $ 12.00 contribution processing and mailing fee. This is an annual active member contribution. Online memberships must renew annually. The $12.00 contribution is waived.
Non-Members: CLBA is canceling services of "court assigned community hours". The active member service is temporarily postponed until future notice.
Clergy I.D. Cards: Cards issued before 10/1/99 will be invalidated. To validate cards clergy members are now required to send two updated passport size color prints and address changes. The deadline is set for 1/1/2000. Failure to update may be subject to active member cancellation. Renewal is now required every five years.
CHANGES:
CLBA public facility at 345 Palm Avenue is closed.
Relocation will be announced in the future. Our new phone and mailing address appears in the homepage.
General Business: CLBA revision period is estimated to end on 6/15/2006. General business will be handled on a 'one to one basis" as they arise.
Public Education: Monthly workshops for non-members is postponed until future notice.
Public Activities: All programs are postponed until future notice.
All active member emergency services will remain in place without change.
